A lama wears a pair of Tibetan boots at the Wutunshang Monastery in Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China's Qinghai Province, on Nov. 28, 2007. Tibetan boots have a history of more than 600 years at Jiangshijia Village in the prefecture. Made of cowhide and corduroy, Tibetan boots are characterized by its variety in styles and sizes. In recent years, less and less people wear Tibetan boots or choose to make them. Now, only the villagers who are older than 45 are able to make this kind of boots. (Xinhua/Karma)   

Un lama indossa un paio di stivali tibetani nel monastero di Wutunshang

provincia autonoma tibetana di Huangnam, nord ovest della Cina nella provincia di Qinghai.

Lo stivale tibetano ha una storia di pił di 600 anni. Fatti di cuoio e velluto sono caratterizzati da numerosi stili dimensioni.

Negli ultimi anni, sempre meno tibetani indossa stivali o decide di crearli. In questo momento solamente le persone che hanno superato i 45 anni sono in grado di produrli,mentre nei giovani la tradizione si sta perdendo.   (xinhua/karma)

600 anni di storia . Sempre meno tibetani sono in grado di produrre manufatti del genere .

Ora solamente i nativi sopra i 45 anni di etą hanno la capacitą di produrli, mentre nelle nuove generazioni l'arte sta perdendosi.
